The Large Square cutting board is a really nice size that can be used to comfortably cut a number of items at the same time, but where the extra width of the rectangular board isn’t needed.

I call them Yankee Boards because I hate to waste wood. So whenever I have enough scraps I go on a spree and make boards with random stripes and woods. The Mk2 will have at least 20% black walnut with the balance being cherry and hard maple, hickory, white ash, white oak or yellow birch. Sometimes I’ll even have some mahogany, bird’s eye maple or purple heart that makes it in to some boards. The designs are completely random. If you want to be able to choose a specific board please place an order and add note for me to send pictures of the boards currently in stock. If I don’t have one you like we will cancel the order.
