The Large Rectangle Yankee Board is mostly made from cut-offs from the shop.  We hate to waste good wood!   Each Yankee Board is individually crafted and no two are alike.  The large rectangle size is a really nice and can be used to prep most meals.

We use a variety of woods with cherry and hard maple predominating.  We also will mix in other woods like black walnut, hickory, soft maple, white oak, mahogany and other hard woods.  Unfortunately you can’t choose the design of an individual board – there are just too many variations to take pictures of them all.  The only choice is the thickness of the board.  I like them all so I think you will like the choice we send you.
