The Large Square cutting board is a really nice size that can be used to comfortably cut a number of items at the same time, but where the extra width of the rectangular board isn’t needed.

I call them Yankee Boards because I hate to waste wood. So whenever I have enough scraps I go on a spree and make boards with random stripes and woods. The Mk1 will have a high proportion of cherry and hard maple, but may also contain hickory, white ash, white oak or yellow birch and perhaps a small amount of black walnut. The designs are completely random. If you want to be able to choose a specific board please place an order and add note for me to send pictures of the boards currently in stock. If I don’t have one you like we will cancel the order.
