This is a MINI BIG BLOCK a smaller version of the Original BIG BLOCK – a very thick board suitable for chopping but in a smaller size to be easier to move around.  It’s the same length and width my large cutting boards but comes in around 1.75″ thick.  I’ve added recesses on the short size to use as a handle to make it easier to lift and carry.

This version is made from cherry with one hard maple stripe to add some nice contrast.
