The medium rectangle is a great size for most kitchen jobs. Big enough for most veggie preparation but small enough to handle easily and not be heavy. Yankee boards are made from cutoffs and are all different – some with lots of stripes, some with just a few. The woods used also vary from board to board. We can’t allow a choice of woods or number of stripes so it’s a bit like playing the lottery, except that every board looks great and is a winner. Approximate Size: 10 3/4” x 6 1/2” though Yankee Boards do vary more than other patterns. Choose desired approximate thickness.

The Medium Rectangle is a great size for small jobs preparing vegetables or garnishes. The Yankee Board design is made from random scraps of hardwood we have around the shop. Mostly cherry and maple, though we use black walnut, hickory, white ash, purple heart, white oak, mahogany, poplar and other woods.
